Thank you for giving us more details about your event! Your application is almost complete.

Please note that we have several exclusivities in place, namely for: all theatrical lighting and concert sound; security; square maintenance; for electrical needs; for waste disposal; and for tents larger than a 10x10 or a 10x20 "pop-up" tent. The YDS Guidelines listing all exclusivities can be found here, and our policies about performance and display, as well as noise restrictions in the square are available here.

As well, as we're a City property, we can't allow generators onsite, and all events that serve alcohol will need a Special Occasions Permit (secured by the organizer). Organizers must abide by the regulations set out in the City of Toronto's Municipal Alcohol Policy and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

All food vendors that are serving unpackaged food to the general public must have prior approval from Toronto Public Health. Temporary Food Establishment forms must be completed ad submitted to YDS at least 21 days fore your event. More information can be found here.
