When the sun peaks out after a harsh winter, Torontonians emerge from the indoors seeking patios, parks and outdoor activities. In the spirit of free summer events, Yonge-Dundas Square is pleased to present the return of the popular Yoga in the Square series, with mats and ambassadors provided by lululemon

lululemon ambassadors will be teaching at Yoga in the Square over 12 weeks, from June 10 until September 2, making it easier than ever to hop in on a last minute free yoga practice.

Every Monday from 12pm to 1pm, a dynamic mix of lululemon ambassadors will guide a one-hour yoga session in Yonge-Dundas Square that encourages yogis of all ages and all levels to stretch and de-stress.

Here’s everything you need to know about free Yoga in the Square this summer:

1. It’s free

Yoga can be a pretty expensive hobby, and who wants to be in a stuffy studio in the middle of summer anyways? Like every event at Yonge-Dundas Square (check out City Cinema and Indie Fridays!), Yoga in the Square is totally free! These classes will revitalize your stiff winter muscles and keep your bank account out of the equation.

2. Register in advance

Are you worried you won’t get a good spot on the square? No sweat! You can register and save your spot.

3. Mats are provided

No need to run out and buy a mat, or sift through your closet for the one you own and carrying it around all day. Mats are provided by lululemon once you arrive at Yonge-Dundas Square, so all you need to bring is yourself!
